“She yawned and stretched sleepily. She hadn't meant to fall asleep in Mom's bed, but she didn't regret it. The large, king-size bed was a haven. Mom had a huge down comforter on the bed and half a dozen pillows. Sleeping in that bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and Tabitha felt like a princess.
