    During the trip Marcel kept up a steady commentary on his city’s history and its famous landmarks. Round about the time they sped through their fifth set of traffic lights – the light clearly flashing red – leaving a blast of horns in their wake, it dawned on Winter that Marcel’s tour guide act was something of a mask.
