“I bend over from where I sit on the edge of my bed, tying the laces on my shoes. "I'll be fine, Colt. I've been working with the guy for awhile. I know how to handle him." "He was just acting so strange the other morning." "He always acts strange." I huff, sitting up. Then I stand and head to my dresser to pick out my accessories. "But seriously, he's harmless. "I'll be fine, Colt. I promise." "No promises." "Sorry. No promises. But I will be okay." "Want me to come and sit in the shop? Keep an eye on you?" "Now who's the stalker?" I tease, placing the lenseless glasses on my face.
