“I was starting to think about her all the time. I didn’t know if she felt the same way, but to take the risk we did in my dressing room took guts. I admired her for that. A guy could hope. My day at work was over and I was looking forward to kicking back as soon as I got home.
I walked out of the dressing room to leave, and instantly spotted the growing scene. Two cameras and a couple of different lights were shining in the faces of Leslie and a reporter. It looked like she was being interviewed. I walked closer to hear what it was about.
“And you’ve been playing the lottery for four years?”
Leslie nodded, her contagious smile lit up her face.
“I have. I had a feeling I would have to win one day.”
I couldn’t believe it. She was doing her lottery interview for all of Dallas to see. I wished she had asked for some advice before doing a live interview.
