    I stretch my body and slip into the water, letting it soothe away the aches and pains of the confinement of my human body. Everything aches in an odd way—my mind as much as my body. Trusting someone with everything you are—especially when you’re an entirely different species—is incredibly traumatic. On top of that, revisiting my history had made me miss my father something fierce.
