“Braedyn whispered, wanting to touch her soft fur, but knowing the pain of the change was still with her. He didn’t want to cause her any more agony than she already felt.
It was amazing to see Casey’s platinum blond hair had been transferred to the wolf. In the light of the moon, her coloring was pure silver.
The pride his wolf felt for his new mate was overwhelming.
* * * * She staggered to her feet, worried that learning to walk on four paws would present a challenge. But the wolf showed her a grace she’d never before known. Raising her nose into the air, she smelled a mix of many things. The wolf began to describe things, eager to share her knowledge. Casey was fascinated to learn.
As the wolf, she turned and looked up at Braedyn, smelling the mixture of their scents on his skin. She called to him. It was time to run.
With a smile, he stepped back, flashed his clothing from his body and transformed. He made it look so easy, she felt a short lived pang of jealousy ripple through her.
