“He’d been awake for at least an hour, and could have been showered and ready to get to work by now, but he liked pretending to be asleep so she would have to wake him. He was also preoccupied with what had happened the night before on the boat. He first felt it when she was so adorably rosy with embarrassment over her outlandish undergarments.
