“He’d been gone for most of the morning and afternoon, out fishing with his grandfather at one of the nearby lakes. In the days following their visit to Custer, they seemed to have slipped into an informal routine. Though she didn’t see much of him during the day, for he spent the majority of his time outdoors, they continued to share their evening meals and often watched the evening news together on the enormous flat screen television in the living room. It was nice, the easy unspoken patter...n they’d developed, and with each passing day she grew more and more relaxed in his company. If she were being honest with herself, she had to admit that she was also becoming increasingly infatuated with her utterly charming and undeniably sexy housemate.
