Alex grabbed his bags from the trunk and shut it. When he saw her, his face broke into a wide grin. “Hey, beautiful.” Fighting the sting of tears, she ran outside in her bare feet to leap into his arms. He laughed as he caught her, held her tight against his powerful body.
