Mina knew he wouldn’t. She didn’t know what Tommy had told the man after she’d left, but she did know that their sort didn’t take to people who testified in court or dealt with the law. Spec had brought her pajamas to her with a questioning look on his face, but he didn’t say a word other than to tell her he wouldn’t mention it to Candy.
