She would rather he sit beside her, but this way she could enjoy the sight of him and he was still deliciously close in this confined space.“So why are we in a closed carriage?” she asked as they rolled away.“We’ll be traveling through some of the rougher parts of London.”“That sounds promising.”He shook his head, but still looked amused. That was her purpose—to amuse Dare.
