She chose a seat at the far end of the bar and slid onto the stool.
The bartender, who looked to be barely over twenty-one, set a coaster in front of her. “What can I get for ya?”
“A martini,” she said without hesitation.
“You got it.”
A moment later, he returned with her drink.
