It means focusing on Tess and focusing on me. I’m at a crossroads in my career—a crossroads in my life. It’s a crucial time.” They were walking down the path that divided Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Chenin Blanc ones. The sun was starting to rise in a cloudless summer sky. “What’s your dream?” he asked. “My dream? As in, my ideal job?”
