As if to underscore that point, Adam tripped over an industrial-sized box of Greenearth Biodegradable Garbage Bags.
“Ouch!”
He could get rid of some stuff. He could. Adam thought about sneaking stuff out at least a hundred times every day. There was so much, she wouldn’t notice. He’d start with a couple of small things in the dining room and if she— “Honey?” The front door slammed.
“In the kitchen, Mom.”
