Mark groaned. “No.” He looked back at Jared. “What the hell did you do? I asked you to stop in and invite her out here. By the looks of it, you added your own spin on it.”
Jared’s face split into a grin that threatened to swallow his face. “You mad, bro?”
Paige pushed past Mark and advanced on Jared. “I’ve put up with a lot of shit over the years from you, Jared. But if you ever show up at my work again and do wh...at you did today, I promise, I will castrate you, so that the chances of ever having a little Jared will be gone.”
Aiden lost it. He laughed so hard that he fell out of his chair. Jared’s face stayed plastered with his shit-eating grin.
