But as soon as she touched the surface of the pool, the image of the white she-wolf began to fade on the water. ‘Wolfbane’s teeth,’ Morgra snarled, and the scars on her muzzle looked like welts in the half-light. She growled angrily as the picture dissolved completely and once more in the water she saw the ceiling of her cave and the stalactites that hung down from above like strands of pe...trified hair.
