That is, until the door opened. Loren walked in and someone wheeled in a gurney behind her. The person left and it was just Loren, me and whatever what was on the gurney. It was covered up, but it had the shape of a ...body.
“That was quite the scene back there. I actually began to enjoy myself,” Loren said. “I don’t think he did, though.” She pulled the sheet on the gurney back. Wes’ dead body lay there, bloody and broken. “It seems he had his head bashed in. A shame. But he served his purpose.”
