“The door shuddered briefly at her back, reminding her that similar shudders ran through her body. What had just happened? She pressed her fingers to her lips, feeling the swell of them.
Certainly, she’d been kissed before. Randolph kissed her twice before he left for Germany. One could not have been in love without that gentle exchange of trust and devotion.
