He checked the doors and looked through the windows of each car he passed, hoping to find something that was worth stealing. It was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up; even if there wasn’t anything of value in the car, the car itself would fetch him at least a few hundred quid. He knew a guy who would happily buy the car from him. It took him all of about one second to decide to steal the car; selling it would make him more money than he’d normally make in a fortnight.
