I gotta tell you, Nickie, I’ve cut the hair of five-year-olds who wer...e better behaved than you were today.” She rested her chin on the top of his head and looked at their images in the bathroom mirror. “Didn’t your mama teach you any manners?”
“Not a one,” he teased. “She knew it was pointless.”
