I tossed and turned, as I have most nights for the past five years. Sometimes I wish I could sleep forever, but that woul...d mean dreaming forever…and I just can’t risk that.
As I finally give up on sleep and open my eyes, I have to wipe the tears in order to take note of the time: 7:30 a.m., thirty minutes before the annoying buzzing is set to go off. I turn off the alarm so it won’t bother me later.
I’m surprised I didn’t sleep longer, considering how wiped out I was from yesterday’s packing.MoreLess
