“Meister?”
“From Leipzig University.”
“I can’t see them,” said Namaroff. “Tell them I’m busy.”
“Mr. Heitz was very insistent.”
His stony eyes were dull with menace. “I have told you, Carla, that for your own safety you must do as I say. This is one of those times when obedience is essential. Go and tell Mr. Heitz that I do not wish to see him or his friend.”MoreLess
