Jojo Moyes does contemporary fiction well, she has a knack for nailing details of various people and situations that always makes me smile. This is an historical mystery, a cross between societal problems and post modern thought. It starts out during WWI in France. The French are the good guys, the Germans are evil...just not convincing, but then the story moved to England, now, and the twists and turns took on more fun. Full of interesting characters and situations, easy and fun... to read.

Già leggendo il prequel "Luna di miele a Parigi" mi ero appassionata a questa storia e volevo scoprire immediatamente cosa sarebbe successo ai personaggi! Adoro quando due storie apparentemente diverse si alternano tra passato e presente, e in modo particolare ho letteralmente amato quella di Sophie Léfèvre ambientata durante gli anni della prima guerra mondiale. Ho scoperto Jojo Moyes con "Io prima di te" e questo libro ha superato le mie alte aspettative! Non vedo l'ora di leggere altri suoi romanzi!MoreLess
