    The alarm bell ceased complaining; the pressure had restabilized. At that, the foodman grimaced. He popped his helmet and then began to unload cartons from his comtrix.
    "We are a hardy race," Asher said, helping him.
    "You have amped up everything," the foodman said; like all the rovers who serviced the domes he was sturdily built and he moved rapidly.
