“Those were the first words Alexis heard, once the earplugs were removed, Master Paul the one to utter them. Though he was standing behind her, Alexis imagined she could hear a smile in his voice.
“Very little,” Master John replied, not a trace of humor in his tone. “I think a time out in the punishment closet is in order.”
