“Josh didn’t think anyone would be in her room, but he wanted to be on the safe side. Katie didn’t care. She just wanted to get away from him. Why didn’t she expect him to be so sneaky? The part that bothered her the most was the fact that she couldn’t get the look he gave her out of her mind. He held the Tormentor in his hand and looked truly surprised she had accused him o...f siccing the thing on her. And that thing was so vicious. If it wanted to attack her to whisper things in her ear, wouldn’t it have been nicer? It bothered Katie to think Josh was telling the truth when he said he didn’t plan anything. It made her head spin. Things weren’t supposed to be like this.
