“Janice popped into the office Rachel shared with two other women, dragging Gabe in behind her. He was wearing another three-piece suit, charcoal-gray this time, and his shoulders seemed to fill the doorway. The cashmere blend stretched tautly across his powerful thighs when he moved, and Rachel couldn’t help but remember how hard and strong that thigh had been wedged between her legs the night on the car.
Janice had her fingers twined through Gabe’s, and something slippery rolled over in Rachel’s gut. Janice was happily married and didn’t mean anything by touching Gabe so casually. And she thought Gabe was just a friend of Rachel’s fiancé. Her fake fiancé. Not the man Rachel was maybe dating.
Christ, this was getting confusing.
Rachel stood and patted her hair, trying to remember if she still had a pencil sticking out of her bun. “Hi, Gabe. You’re early for dinner.”
“Traffic was a breeze.” Gabe held out his hand to her two coworkers, and Rachel made the introductions.
