“Terrence is at the station with me doing weather updates. How are the negotiations going?”With her uncle’s response, a huge smile covered her face. “Uncle Warrick, that’s wonderful. We will celebrate when you get back.”Sherri knew the moment Terrence had stepped outside the room, and swung around to face him. Every single nerve in her body became energized. She wished she could put that kiss they’d shared moments ago to the back of her mind, but couldn’t.Her uncle’s words pulled her attention back to their phone conversation. “Terrence? Yes, he’s right here. Just a moment.”She handed the phone to Terrence. “Uncle Warrick wants to talk to you.” She then went back inside the room to check the monitors.Terrence watched her walk away before speaking into the phone. “Warrick, this is Terrence.”“Hey, man, I got that station in Memphis. We’re going to have to celebrate when I get back.”Terrence chuckled. “Sure thing. I’ll spring for the champagne.”“And I want you to watch out for Sherri.
