They were surrounded by a dense screen of trees and shrubs. There were muted bird calls in the air, and the faint noise of a baby crying. On a tree there was a sign which read ‘Eden to Let’.
The young man and young woman, with their hands outstretched on the ground, barely touched one another. The sky was clear.
