“Because your excitement would have been unbearable,” he said, although that wasn’t true. “Three hours, is that all?” She began to eat her breakfast with more haste.
“There is no rush,” he said. And then he fell silent. There was something he had been thinking about, and he wanted to ask Chrissi what she thought.
