“Penelope was there, in my bed, her arm was draped across my bare chest and her naked chest pressed against my side. I usually didn’t let women stay the night, or at least I’d try to be gone before they woke up.
With her, though, it was different. I didn’t know if I liked her or just didn’t have the heart to kick her out, but it was almost pleasant lying next to her. Like it was somehow supposed to be that way.
As she looked deep asleep, I slid myself off of her and replaced my body with a pillo...w that she just as happily gripped onto. I walked into the bathroom and took a piss before slipping on some black sleeping pants from my closet. I looked at myself in the mirror as I did so, before coming closer and really examining myself.
What was I going to do about this woman in my bed? They really didn’t want me sleeping with or even becoming friends with women in the office.
