“He’d been working hard for over sixteen hours and now Jackson returned to a Clara-less apartment. Had she been there she would have greeted him at the door, taken everything from his hands, kissed him, massaged him, showered with him, made love to him. Tears filled his eyes. It had been ingrained in him that men should not cry so much. But now that he was a man without hope he let the tears flow. Sighing, Jackson sat down to read the mail. He opened an envelope labeled: Time Sensitive Docum...ent. He’d been approved for a loan he’d applied for before the breakup.
