“Thar demanded, pacing back and forth across his room in the Myth and Maiden. “A little,” Martel said. Whenever the Sword visited the River Quarter he came as Martel Kolnir, newly promoted marshal of the watchmen. “One of the nightwatch remembered seeing a young man who fit Keedar’s description near the piers in the Burrows.”
Thar stopped. “Makes sense. He wouldn’t have gone to any of the inns. Too risky. That leaves the closest smuggling route.”
