“Shaking off the snowflakes from my coat, I looked around for her. I rubbed my hands together, bringing back the feeling in my fingers, although I couldn’t shake the jittery feeling in my stomach. She had promised to be here tonight. I didn’t spot her raven hair in the main area so I made my way to the back of the room.
There was no time to waste. Rebecca needed me and it was only in her best interest that I agreed to meet this woman.
