“Pediatrician James Macis had left a large practice to partner with his brother-in-law, Doctor Michael Johnson. Between the two of them, they were the only pediatricians the tiny town offered. It was a quicker, more routine practice he always thought he wanted, but now that he was here, settling into things, he found that he enjoyed it. He was able to get to know the residents of this small town better than he had ever been able to with any of his clients in Denver.
