    He could tell by the sound of her voice she was on the back deck, so he made his way over, trying not to disturb her. Her voice was quiet, with a weird professional tone to it he wasn’t used to hearing, and it only took hearing a minute or so of her side of the conversation to confirm what he’d suspected. They wanted to talk to her which meant, no matter how tough their hiring process was, they were very interested in her.
