He didn’t let her finish before he pointed skyward. “We’re Walkers remember.”
She nodded dumbly. “So what about us? Are you taking me back home?”
His expression darkened as he stood. “Buckle up,” he ordered as he closed the back door leaving her alone on the back seat. He climbed into the driver’s seat while Aries tried to figure out what it was she’d said that made him so angry. “Conn?”MoreLess
