“He was not looking forward to a face-off with Milo and was relieved when he saw that only Wiley was in the room. The old man was sitting on his bunk rubbing his leg. Ben shrugged out of his coat and hung it and his hat on a nail beside the door.

“He fired me. Ordered me off the place.”
“Ya goin’?”
