Her grandmother bumped her shoulder. “Come over for coffee with the boys.”
“Okay. I’ve got everyone coming over for dinner later, but coffee sounds good.”
“And I’ve got a pie cooling with the last of the peaches.”
“Now that sounds really good.”
She saw Aaron run up to Caleb Gilbert, who was leaning against his truck in the parking lot, talking to Jeremy and his wife, Brenda. The man said something to her youngest, then winked, sending Aaron and his friend into peals of laughter before they ran away.
