-Helen Jillian Jillian didn’t have any classes with Professor Black this second semester, so she knew she wouldn’t see him in class, but seeing him around campus would be inevitable. She had butterflies in her stomach at the thought of seeing him. She picked up her phone a dozen times to call him but changed her mind. She planned on surprising him after her classes in his office.
Avoiding Alexander, on the other hand, was impossible since he ...was in all of her classes. As soon as she walked into her first class of the semester, she saw him. He gave her a sad smile, but she ignored him and grabbed a seat on the other side of the class in between two other students so that he wouldn’t get any ideas about sitting next to her. She took out her laptop and books and refused to look back at him. She was still angry.
He had probably been with that bimbo with the VW while she was being poked and prodded by paramedics. It was her idea that he give her space, but did he have to disappear completely?MoreLess
