His outward attractiveness was undeniable. With his striking looks, Cole Mathison might well be considered movie-star handsome. But something was missing … keeping his good looks in check. An underlying danger, a hollow sadness.He was very tall … maybe around six-five. Tall men certainly didn’t bother her. She stood close to five feet eleven in her stocking feet. Perhaps it was his eyes that disturbed her. They were an unusual color—dark charcoal, with striations of silver and electric blue.
