Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865 –1936), an English author and poet is famous for his works of fiction The Jungle Book. His non-fiction work being less known. “Sea Warfare”, published in 1916, offers author’s report on naval activities during World War I, at the same time being a lyrical masterpiece. Describing naval battles, he portraits true Englishman as brave, conscientious, and self-reliant people. It is an artful tribute to human deeds in the face of danger.
