‘Are you weakened through sadness, or are you physically injured by the news?’ ‘Both,’ Fynch wheezed. ‘The message of Aphra travelling is delivered through magic. It sucked all my strength … to reach me, for me to hear it, for Reynard to send it. Ravan will be travelling too. I have no idea where he will emerge but he will not be well for a long time.’ He shook his head grimly.
