Instead of taking me to a fancy restaurant, David stopped at a local pizzeria. We came back to my apartment, while Anna stayed in her room with the door closed. We ate our pizza sitting on the couch, and afterward spent a large amount of our time not talking, choosing to make out like teenagers. I’ve never had as much fun on a date as I did with David last night. Even with the whole Laura thing. He’s got a great sense of humor, and likes to have fun. He doesn’t mind when I tease him, like Matt did. If I’d made the “dirty old man” comment to Matt, he wouldn’t have talked to me for the rest of the night. He was always so easily offended and quick to get upset. Looking over at my alarm clock though, I panic when I see I’ve overslept. I have less than 30 minutes to take a shower, get ready, and make it to work on time. Anna had an early shoot this morning, so she wasn’t here to make sure I was up. After I rush to get ready, I grab a granola bar on my way out the door, hightailing it to work.
