Carly put her hand on Dillon’s chest. “Stop worrying.” She had stayed with him for two days and had decided she needed to get a few things from her house.     “Are you sure you don’t want me to come?” He moved his hand from where it had been braced on one of corral’s metal railings and took off his gloves and shoved them in his back pocket. He wore a work shirt, faded Wrangler jeans, and worn dusty boots. He looked so sexy she wanted to jump him.     She smiled as he put his hand over hers. “I’m only going in long enough to grab some clothes and my laptop. I can’t believe I left it—usually it’s glued to my fingertips.”     He studied her, his features intent. “If there’s any sign of him, you get out of there, okay?”     She reached up and kissed him. “Okay.”     He released her hand as she took a couple of steps back, their gazes still locked, and then she gave a little wave and turned and headed for her Jeep.
