“He sat back in his seat and sighed, silently smacking himself in the head for screwing that up. He saw the confused look on her face when he had walked away. She had definitely expected him to kiss her, so why had he doubted that and chickened out at the last minute?

“I wish I had realized that about three minutes ago.” Turner sighed again.
