“It barely covered her body, but it made her feel beautiful. She slipped on the thigh-high boots and laughed. Her mothers-in-law had kept her mates busy; she hadn't seen them all day. Even at supper they had been busy. Jaycee grabbed her coat and purse, heading towards the back staircase. She smiled as she noticed Kate and Shelly waving the car keys at her, and they slipped out the back door to the house.
They all climbed into Dane's truck and took off. They all laughed, driving into town. Jayce...e loved it. She felt so free. No one chased her, or wanted her dead. It was the first night in a long time that she felt relaxed. Shelly pulled into the parking lot of the local bar. At least twenty females from the pack waited for them. Jaycee shook her head and got out of the car. She couldn't drink, but she sure could dance. No one was going to stop her from dancing tonight.
