Often these apparently predictable types can spring surprising verdicts. The muesli-eating teacher may believe that prison works, and the builder may be a stickler for the presumption of innocence. Their verdicts may be unpredictable, but the experienced Old Bailey hack can usually identify his friends and spot his enemies.
