“Ashley glanced up from the teeny table in her camper van that she was using as a computer desk. The side door was propped open to let in the fresh air, and Cassidy filled the frame. His blond hair stood up in places, his hat held before him in his hands.
Hands. Hmm. The memory of his touch sent a shiver trickling over her. It had been a couple days since they’d had their little showdown in the mess hall. Since then she’d spent her nights in Travis’s bed, without Cassidy joining them.
It wasn’t as if the three of them had nothing else to do but fool around, but Cassidy seemed to be holding back. Travis had given the other man a few hard looks, but he hadn’t pushed, so she’d followed his lead. Cassidy would come around, she was sure of it. They had lots of time, and there was something to be said for the thrill of the chase.
But having him come to her? Half the battle right there.
She patted the cushion beside her. “Nice to see you. What have you got planned?”
