"Robert Falconer" is probably the best works written by George MacDonald. It deals widely with a little boy's search to know God personally while struggling with the concepts about God presented to him by his extremely strict Calvanist grandmother who brings him up. The book contains some of the best advice on Christian ministry ever seen in novels. If you only want an entertaining book this may not be the best one as it is written in the phonetic Scottish accent, which can be quite difficult to
... understand. But still the book is absolutely excellent, and the story is entertaining.
